OmniDocs Web provides you a web-based interface for Newgen OmniDocs. The user is supposed to enter the Cabinet name, its user name and password for accessing the cabinets on web. Accordingly the folders and the documents under that cabinet become accessible to him on the web thus increasing the accessibility, as the client side software installation has been eliminated. A registered user can access OmniDocs Web from anywhere in the world, best viewed on resolution of 1366x768, using standard web browsers - Internet Explorer 11.0 (With Compatibility View Disabled), Mozilla Firefox (50 and above), Safari 10.1 and Google Chrome (60.0 and above).
The very basic operation of the system is taking paper-based document and converting them into computer-based documents. These paper documents can be scanned and their images can be viewed and manipulated on a computer screen. Again these images can be indexed, stored, forwarded and retrieved over the network. All these operations combined with many other features make OmniDocs Web.
